The Annapurnas, the most popular trekking region
offers the greatest variety of scenery, people,
culture, flora and fauna. The Annapurna massif
streaching 70 miles along the northern border of
Nepal rising to the height of 8,091m. meters
with stunning views make the trekking highly
rewarding. Annapurna Circuit trek, starting in
Beshisahar and ending in Pokhara encircling the
Annapurna massif is popularly regarded as the
best of Nepal's classic mountain treks. The
trail follows Marshyangdi valley north of Manang,
crosses snow covered Thorang La pass (5430 m.),
passes Muktinath, an important site of Hindus
and Buddhist pilgrimages, and returns to Pokhara
via Kali Gandaki River. The trek is considered
the best of Nepal's classic mountain trek.
Annapurna sanctuary trek also known as Annapurna
base camp trek starts in Pokhara passing through
rice terraces, colorful Gurung villages, the
word's deepest river gorge - Kaligandaki and
ancient trade route to Mustang to reach high
mountain glaciers in a matter of days. The
culmination of the trek is in being surrounded
by snow capped peaks near Annapurna &
Machhapuchhre base camp area. Jomsom- Muktinath
Trek ( 12 days ) makes a short trek in Annapurna
region. Muktinath is a holy place for Hindu &
Buddhist devotees. The trail passes through
ridges between Modikhola & Kali Gandaki offering
sharp changes in lands cape, vegetation culture
and stunning views of Himalayas.
